Triumph ‘Ride with Legends’ Competition – Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy of your information.

  1. Promoter: Triumph Motorcycles Limited
  2.  Promotional period: Promotion opens 22nd July 20126 at 12:00pm BST and closes on 16th August at 23:59pm BST.
  3. Eligibility: Entry is open to residents in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. The promotion excludes TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES LTD employees and the immediate families of the promoter, its agents, suppliers or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion. Prize draw is subject to all local laws and regulations where offered.
  4. You must be 16 years or over by the event date to enter.
  5. Entry Instructions: Participants must fill out the online entry form in full, providing accurate personal details including their full name, postal address, date of birth, and email address. Entrants must also select their preferred motorcycle model (TF 250-X or TF 450-X) and confirm their acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by ticking the relevant checkbox. In addition, entrants must review and agree to the event waiver provided alongside these Terms and Conditions. Entries will only be valid where all required information has been completed and the required acknowledgements and consents have been provided.
  6. Winner Selection: Four (4) winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the competition period. Each winner will be awarded the opportunity to ride their selected motorcycle model (TF 250-X or TF 450-X, as chosen during entry) at the Ride with Legends exclusive Triumph experience taking place on 3rd September 2026. Winners will be contacted using the details provided in their entry form and must comply with all event requirements, including the completion of all necessary documentation and waivers, to participate.
  7. The winners will be notified by Triumph Motorcycles Ltd in the form of either written, electronic or spoken communication and will be provided with a deadline to respond within 48 hours.
  8. Prize Fund: The prize consists of an exclusive opportunity for four (4) winners to ride their chosen motorcycle model (TF 250-X or TF 450-X, as selected during entry) at the Ride with Legends Triumph experience on 3rd September 2026. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered. The prize is limited to participation in the riding experience only and does not include any travel, accommodation, subsistence, or other expenses unless expressly stated otherwise by the promoter.
  9. Each winner will be notified before 17:00hrs on Monday 17th August 2026.
  10. No purchase necessary. Entries limited to one entry per person. Duplicated entries will be removed.
  11. All images are for illustrative purposes only.
  12. General: Winner’s full name and country will be available for a period of three (3) months upon request. For name of winner please contact Triumph Motorcycles UK after the date of Monday 17th August 2026.
  13. Publication of Prize Winner’s Entry: By entering the Promotion the entrant agrees that their entry may be published on the Promoter’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and X and in other media, including press release material, at the Promoter’s sole discretion. Entry to the prize draw signifies acceptance of any publicly activity as a result of winning a prize. Refusal to take part in any reasonable publicity advised by the Promoter entitles the Promoter to withdraw the prize and award it elsewhere. Publicity related to this prize draw will at minimum include the release of the winner’s name to those who contact the Promoter to obtain the name of the winner.
  14. Prize is non-transferable. If a winner declines the offer, is unable to attend the Ride with Legends exclusive Triumph experience on 3rd September 2026, or fails to meet the eligibility or participation requirements, their entry will be declared void, and the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from all eligible entries.
  15. The promoter does not accept liability for any losses or claim whatsoever arising out of the participating in the promotion or accepting the prize. This does not affect the user’s statutory rights.
  16.  Users are responsible for all costs and expenses relating to participation in the promotion, such as the cost of accessing the internet.
  17.  Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for lost, late, damaged, corrupted or misdirected entries or claims and the Promoter is not responsible for any late or misdirected delivery of communications (email or otherwise), except in the event of wilful intent on the part of the Promoter or its agents.
  18. By entering this promotion, you agree to these terms and conditions which will at that time become binding between you and the Promoter.
  19.  Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far, as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay, or changes to the prize details beyond the Promoter’s control and for any act or default of any third-party supplier.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winner and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  21. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
  22. By entering the prize draw participant agrees to accept and abide by these Terms & Conditions and agrees that any dispute with regard to the conduct of this promotion, rule interpretation or award of prize shall be submitted to Promoter, whose decision shall be binding and final. Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Except where prohibited, each participant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the courts of England and Wales; (2) any and all claims, judgements and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event legal fees; (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation, lost profits, may be awarded (collectively, ‘Special Damages’); and (4) Participant hereby waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. English law governs the promotion and all aspects related there to.
  23. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  24. To the fullest extent permitted by law and excluding death or permanent injury caused as a result of the Promoter’s negligence, the Promoter accepts no liability for loss or injury as a result of the Promotion or receipt or misuse of any prize.
  25. Data Protection: All personal data submitted in connection with the promotion will be processed by the promoter and appointed third parties for the purposes of administering and managing the promotion and prize (where applicable) and verifying the eligibility of each participant. The promoter will not use any personal data fir aby other purposes without the consent of the relevant participant.  RIDER AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”)

This Agreement is between:

Background

You are entering an event referred to as a Demonstration Event. On your arrival there will be a demonstration with a technician showing you the bikes you will be riding and the specifications and technologies within these motorcycles. You will have the chance to ask questions. There are 2 sessions (max) of riding providing you have booked and confirmed 2 with the organiser. You will have the opportunity to ride two sessions on the TF 250-X or 450-X.  There is no riding on public roads.  You will ride the motocross track in a group.  You will potentially be riding with riders of mixed abilities.

Purpose

The purpose of the demonstration ride is for the you (the customer) to have the opportunity, to ride for the purpose of evaluation of the features, benefits and performance of Triumph motorcycles. Triumph encourages, full, fair, open, honest and transparent commentary about the features, benefits and performance of Triumph Motorcycles.  Triumph values public safety, social responsibility and the positive image of its motorcycles and motorcycling. Triumph promotes the benefits and enjoyment of motorcycle riding. Triumph recognizes that members of the public also promote the benefits, enjoyment and positive image of motorcycles and motorcycle riding. 

Rider (You) Acknowledge

That this agreement applies to all motorcycles loaned by Triumph Motorcycles LTD to the rider for the duration of this event only. Triumph requests and requires that all riders attending this event follow this agreement.  If there are any violations of this agreement Triumph will require the immediate return of its motorcycles. All disruptive behaviour while operating the motorcycle is prohibited. You will be in FULL protective riding kit and Triumph holds the right to refuse your riding slot if they deem you to not have the required safety equipment (Helmet, Armour, Boots, jersey, gloves, pants)

Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that motorcycling always includes inherent risks and hazards and that participating in any such motorcycling activities is at your own risk.

Social Responsibility

Riders may not display or operate any Triumph motorcycle, Triumph trademark or Triumph Logo in any fashion or manner that present a negative image of Triumph, motorcycling or motorcycle riders.  Riders will not display or operate the motorcycle in any way that may cause offense to any reasonable members of the public.  Riders will not display any Triumph motorcycle, Triumph Trademark or Triumph Logo in conjunction with any political or religious points of view. This includes display and depictions of the Triumph Motorcycle, Triumph brand name or Triumph Logo on any social media.  Riders will never depict the motorcycle, Triumph brand name or Triumph Logo on any social media in any way that may cause offense to any reasonable members of the public. Riders will not display any Triumph motorcycle, Triumph Trademark or Triumph Logo on any social media in conjunction with any political or religious points of view.

Model Image Rights Release             

There may be filming, photography and sound recording taken throughout this event, which will be published in a range of formats including (but not limited to) web, social, video, advertising, print, etc on various channels and platforms, published by Triumph. You agree to being featured in this content, and that Triumph, its group companies and/or its dealers have the right to use images of you (including photographs and video footage) and your name, likeness and endorsement or any reproduction thereof in any form, internally and externally, for any commercial purposes. Other attendees may take photos, films, sound recording, or use other methods of recording. Triumph assumes no liability for the content that other attendees produce and publish. Triumph cannot be held responsible for the content that other attendees produce and publish.”

Motorcycle Return

You recognise the need to report any motorcycle damage to Triumph. Triumph encourages all borrowers to identify any concerns that he/she may have about the performance and safety of each motorcycle.  Riders must report all motorcycle damage and identify any erratic aspect of the motorcycle performance. Everyone wants to make sure that the motorcycle is safe and ready for the next rider.

The rider agrees to allow Triumph to address any concerns raised with the operation or use of a motorcycle.

Confidentiality:

This Agreement is confidential. It may not be disclosed to other parties. If there is any litigation demand, or any order of a court or government agency served on either the Rider or Triumph, the receiving party will notify the other party immediately in writing.

Intellectual Property, Trademarks and Logos:

The Triumph name, logo and trademark are the intellectual property of Triumph. Nothing in the loan of a Vehicle shall waive any of Triumph's intellectual property rights. Nothing in the loan of this Vehicle gives the Rider any rights to use any Triumph brand name, logo or trademark.

The rider appreciates and recognizes the economic, historical and societal value of the Triumph brand name, trademark and logo. The rider appreciates and recognizes the benefits of good public relations and the costs of negative PR associated with the Triumph brand name, trademark, and logo. The borrower will not depict the motorcycle in conjunction with the products, trademarks or logos of any competitors.

Entire Agreement

This represents the entire Agreement between Triumph and The Rider. All other communications are merged into this Agreement. There are no verbal or side agreements. This Agreement cannot be modified except in writing signed by both parties.

Representation of Understanding of this Agreement

You represent that you have read this entire agreement and that you understand the agreement. If you have any reservations about signing this agreement, you will refrain from the loan of this Triumph Vehicle. You represent that you understand that this is a legally binding agreement, and You are authorised to sign it.  

Indemnification

You shall indemnify and hold harmless Triumph and Triumph’s parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, successors, assignees and related entities, and each of the foregoing entities’ officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives from and against any and all losses, claims, liability, judgements, expenses, costs, damages, actions or causes of action (including, without limitation, reasonable outside legal fees) arising out of any claim by a third party for personal injury, death, damage to property and any other loss relating thereto resulting from a breach of any of the foregoing representations and warranties or otherwise relating to the use of the Vehicle as contemplated under this Agreement.

Triumph Obligations

We (or an experienced contractor we appoint) agree in respect of the Vehicle prior to the Riding Period to check (at least) the following:

  1. Tyre Pressures
  2. Tyre and Wheel Condition
  3. Oil level
  4. Coolant level
  5. Fuel Level
  6. Brake’s function
  7. Throttle Function
  8. Clutch function
  9.  Gear Change Function

Conclusion

Triumph Motorcycle promotes safe, responsible motorcycle operation. Triumph encourages safe, responsible, and courteous operation of all motorcycles.  Triumph requires that riders always display and operate the motorcycle in a socially responsiblefashion.  Triumph requires and appreciates the cooperation of each rider in promoting the benefits and enjoyment of motorcycle riding.  

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Any and all disputes about the loan of any Triumph motorcycle to you and/or about this agreement shall be governed exclusively by the law of England to the exclusion of the law of any other country and/or jurisdiction. Any and all disputes about the loan of any Triumph motorcycle to you and/or about this agreement shall be adjudicated exclusively in the courts of England to the exclusion of all other countries and jurisdictions.

Rider (Your) Obligations

You agree in respect of the Vehicle during the Riding Period to:

  1. ensure it is only used for the Permitted Use and by the Permitted User(s).
  2.  accept full responsibility for the Vehicle, it’s operation and any damage to the Vehicle that occurs, howsoever caused, whilst you are the sole rider.
  3. use the Vehicle in accordance with all regulations, obeying all circuit controls and signals, which may also be stipulated by the Circuit Staff, Marshalls, or Triumph.
  4.  comply with all instructions and safety procedures as given by Circuit Staff, Marshalls, or Triumph, which may include speed limits, access to prohibited routes, riding alone and noise.
  5. always ride within the limits of your ability and at a reasonable speed, taking into consideration other circuit traffic, weather and track conditions.
  6.  overtaking is to be performed responsibly.
  7.  use the Vehicle only in the manner for which it was designed and intended and in accordance with all the recommended operating practices.
  8. always operate the motorcycle responsibly within the limits of your ability.
  9.  recognise the importance of safety of circuit and attending staff, and other motorcycle riders. You recognise that courteous riding is important to the image of motorcycling in general and to the image of Triumph Motorcycles specifically.
  10. report any accident, loss, damage, modifications, or potential 3rd party claims to us immediately.
  11. comply with any reasonable procedure for the Vehicle's repair and permit no repairs to be done until they are authorised by us.
  12.  never attempt to modify the Vehicle.
  13.  never attempt to disable or defeat any feature of the Vehicle provided.
  14. comply with any reasonable procedure to enable an insurance claim to be made.
  15.  not permit any lien or charge to be created over it or permit anything to happen which is inconsistent with our ownership of the Vehicle,
  16. return the Vehicle to an agreed point at the end of the Riding Period.
  17. inspect the Vehicle at the time of delivery & collection and advise of any damage evident prior to riding.
  18. conduct yourself and ride accordingly, as an ambassador for Triumph.
  19. provide your own and always wear a motocross motorcycle helmet compliant with federal, state and local laws and race regulations, during all operation of the Triumph motorcycle.
  20.  provide your own suitable motocross protective riding gear.
  21. during all operation of the Triumph motorcycle, to always wear suitable protective motocross riding gear including eye protection, a back protector, body armour, jersey, jacket (optional), long trousers, gloves and boots. You are required to wear full length off-road motorcycle boots with ankle protection.
  22. not carry any passenger.
  23.  no pets or animals are permitted on the motorcycle during operation.
  24. not allow the bike to be sat on by any other individual.
  25. secure the bike in such a way that prevents accident or injury to any individual at the event.
  26. not permit the Vehicle to be moved to any other external location.
  27. not smoke or vape during the operation of the motorcycle.
  28. not to use mobile phones, radar, GPS, wireless internet, and/or Bluetooth while operating the motorcycle.
