Triumph Factory Racing’s Jonny Walker has made an excellent start to his 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship campaign, finishing second overall at round one in Gliwice, Poland. Racing the TF 450-E inside the packed PreZero Arena, Walker combined precision, pace, and consistency across three intense finals to claim a race win and end the night second in the standings.

Kicking off the action by topping the timesheets in practice, Walker made his intentions clear early on. In the one-lap SuperPole, he was on course for a strong result before a small mistake in one of the final corners dropped him to seventh. Starting further back in race one, Jonny immediately began working his way through the field and climbed to fourth within the opening two laps. Despite closing in rapidly on a podium finish, a mistake in the last corner saw him drop the bike and lose a position, ultimately finishing fifth.

Race two proved to be a highlight of the evening for Jonny. From a second-row start in the reverse-grid race, Walker charged through the pack and moved into second place after the opening lap. Locked in a close three-way battle for the lead on the technical circuit, he made his move midway through the race and took control out front. Under constant pressure, the TF 450-E racer delivered a clean and composed ride to secure his first race win of the season, marking a perfect response to the opening race.

In race three, Walker didn’t get the best start but quickly found his rhythm on the demanding track. Making decisive passes through the field, he worked his way into second place and held his position until the flag, rounding out a consistent and competitive performance.

With a race win and two strong finishes under his belt, Walker secured second overall on the night and sits second in the championship standings after round one. The series resumes on January 3rd with round two in Riesa, Germany, where Jonny and Triumph Factory Racing will look to build on a promising start to the 2026 season.

Jonny Walker

“I’m happy with how round one has gone here in Poland. It wasn’t perfect, but we showed strong pace with a race win and a solid second in the final race, and I was closing in on Billy towards the end, which was encouraging. The first race didn’t go to plan after a crash on the final lap cost me a few positions, but to leave here second in the championship is still a good start. There’s definitely room for improvement, and I’m confident we can be even stronger heading into Germany.”
