Smith Fourteenth in Supercross' Return to Cleveland

Triumph Factory Racing’s Jordon Smith secured 14th overall at the final Triple Crown race of the 2026 AMA Supercross season which took place at Cleveland’s Huntington Bank Field in Ohio.

Smith's bid for a top ten started in difficult fashion, suffering a fall at turn two in the opening encounter. Undeterred by an additional crash just laps later, he persevered to salvage 17th at the finish line, adding valuable points to his campaign. A cleaner start to the second race paid dividends. Despite heavy rain altering the track conditions, the Triumph rider negotiated them with confidence en route to a strong 12th place.

The final 450SX race, again held in challenging conditions, was eventful for all. Smith launched well, using the power of his Triumph TF 450-X to rocket up to seventh off the start. From there, he fought the elements to cross the finish line 13th, rewarding the American with a 17-12-13 scorecard to place him 14th in the overall classification. The result sees the 30-year-old jump to 19th in the overall championship standings.

Triumph Factory Racing venture further east now, as 2026 AMA Supercross is poised to complete its final East Coast fixture of the season in Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, April 25.

Jordon Smith:

"It was a decent day! The practices were solid, more so than at any other race this season. I was caught in some early carnage in the first moto, but I bounced back with good starts and rides throughout. The pieces of the puzzle are coming together, so I'm excited about the future."

Steve Westfall – Team Manager, Triumph Factory Racing:

"It was a better weekend than the previous couple. Jordon's starts are improving and the overall feeling is that we're moving in the right direction. This track tested the rider's skills today – I'm pleased that we left with a positive result."
