The new 2025 Moto2™ World Champion, Diogo Moreira, has been crowned the winner of the 2025 Triumph Triple Trophy; recognised by racing fans for his exceptional performances throughout this season.
The first-ever Brazilian Moto2 Champion, Moreira secured the highest points across the season from fan votes in the Triumph Triple Trophy, where he made the shortlist eight times, and claimed top points five times. Finishing the season with 51 points, Moreira finished ahead of his rivals Manuel Gonzalez and Jake Dixon, to claim the prestigious custom-liveried Triumph Triple Trophy Street Triple 765 RS prize, the roadster derived from the 765cc triple engine that powers the Moto2TM class. This year's poll saw over 861,000 fans cast their vote for their favourite rider each weekend across the season.
Since its launch in 2020, the Triumph Triple Trophy has celebrated standout performances in Moto2, not just race wins, but resilience and consistency. Each weekend three riders are shortlisted and fans vote via the MotoGP™ Instagram channel, and points are awarded are in reference to Triumph’s 765cc engine:
7 points for the rider with most fan votes
6 points for the rider with second most fan votes
5 points for the rider with third most fan votes
This year a new format was introduced, where for the first time ever running alongside the weekend rider vote, fans had the chance to enter a free prize draw to win their very own Triumph Triple Trophy Street Triple 765 RS; an identical Triumph Triple Trophy machine.
The Triple Trophy prize, a unique Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, built and customised at Triumph’s global HQ at Hinckley, UK, was presented to Diogo Moreira at the final round of the 2025 season at Valencia, where he is the fifth winner of the Triumph-backed competition who next season moves up into the premier class, MotoGP™.
