team

In 2024, Triumph Racing and Macadam Racing joined forces to compete in the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship. The Macadam Triumph Factory Racing team contested the championship with two riders in the ultra-competitive domestic series with the intention of mounting a championship challenge. The team and Luke Stapleford delivered on that goal, winning six races aboard the Triumph Street Triple 765 and standing on the podium 16 times to be crowned vice-champion at the season finale.
The team returns in 2025 with the same rider lineup in Luke Stapleford and Max Wadsworth.
In 2022, Macadam Racing took over the Appleyard Macadam Racing team, who won an unprecedented four titles in the British Supersport series previously. The team secured a handful of podiums in its second year under the ownership of Dave Wadsworth and in 2024, joined forces with Triumph Racing to build on that success utilising the platform of the Street Triple 765
The Macadam Triumph Factory Racing team also fields a four-rider outfit in the National Sportbike series. Utilising the championship-winning Triumph Daytona 660, the Lincolnshire-based arm of the Macadam squad is focused on developing young talent and challenging for podium finishes in the ultra-competitive series. Triumph Racing also supports PHR Performance racing’s Harrison Dessoy and Structural Repairs Triumph Racing’s Thomas Strudwick, with a number of additional riders in the field also choosing to compete with Daytona 660 machinery.
The Daytona 660 race kit was developed for the National Sportbike Championship in conjunction with PHR Performance. The PHR outfit, headed by TT-ace and BSB race-winner Peter Hickman, won the first ever National Sportbike Championship in 2024 with Richard Cooper on board the Daytona 660.
