Triumph Motorcycles scoops three awards in MCN 2020 Awards: Britain's best bikes

Triumph’s new Tiger 900 Rally Pro has been crowned MCN’s Bike Of The Year 2020. The team stated “The 2020 Overall Machine of the Year Award goes to Triumph’s new Tiger 900 Rally Pro. The Rally Pro is the top-spec, off-road version of the Tiger 900, which replaced the 800 this year. We were blown away by its incredible finish, balance, handling and useability. We don’t think there are many bikes that are as together as the new Tiger 900 Rally Pro.”

Devron Boulton, General Manager Triumph UK & Ireland commented, “A superb achievement and success to have been awarded Bike of the Year for the Tiger 900 Rally Pro. We are very proud of the new Tiger that we launched in 2020, a model that displays class-leading technology, unbeatable performance, and pure enjoyment.”

Best Adventure Bike was also deservedly awarded to the Tiger 900 Rally Pro. With an overall rating of 5/5 from MCN the test riders commented: “The Tiger 900 is all-new, from the front wheel to the back, and from the screen downward. The old 800 was a great bike, but the development team started with a blank sheet, the bike feels like a better version of the old one. “

Best Cruiser Award went to the 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 R. MCN said: “The long-awaited replacement for the original Rocket III isn’t just great to look at, great to listen to or great for winning a round of car-park Top Trumps. Now, it’s a properly impressive, considered and complete creation that’s as good to ride as it is to look at.”

Devron Boulton added “The new Rocket 3 motorcycle range is in a class of its own. Equipped with the world’s largest production motorcycle engine capacity of 2500cc with all of Triumph’s incredible handling, the Rocket 3 brings a sublime feel and comfort for all-day easy riding and we can see why it has been voted Best Cruiser.”
