Triumph has joined forces with expedition specialists Trailquest to develop a range of exclusive adventure riding experiences aimed at the brilliant Tiger 800XC.
Catering for all levels of ability, from novice to seasoned expedition rider, the courses provide the perfect opportunity for riders to explore the off road potential of their Tiger XC, while enjoying some of the finest off- road riding in the UK on routes around the Malvern Hills in Herefordshire. The emphasis is on a fun, enjoyable experience, which is tailored specifically to the rider’s ability, experience and requirements. Groups are kept small, with a maximum of four riders per instructor, meaning riders progress at a pace that suits them.

Triumph Off–Road Experience – Introduction (1 day / £180 pp)
This course provides an introduction to off road riding for those with little or no previous experience. Tuition will cover essential basic skills and a guided ride on suitable trails on the Bromesberrow estate near Malvern.Trails are wide, relatively flat and with grass, hard core or gravel surfaces. These have gentle slopes and sweeping curves that are easy to negotiate on all size of bike and suitable for novice riders in wet or dry conditions.
Triumph Off–Road Experience – Intermediate (1 day / £220 pp)
Aimed at those who have completed the introductory level or who have previous experience. Located at Leominster it includes advanced tuition on a variety of surfaces, including ascents and descents. The trails also include tighter corners and narrower sections through a more wooded landscape. Some wet and muddy patches can be expected depending on time of year and recent weather.
Triumph Off-Road Experience - Advanced (1 day / £260pp)
For those with a good level of experience who want to improve their technique on challenging terrain. Trails incorporate rock strewn surfaces and heavily rutted sections with some very steep hills and tight corners. Deep water and mud is encountered in parts and in some places the trails are very narrow. Several require careful navigation to follow. At some times of the year, and after very dry condition, trails across very soft soil/sand available.
Triumph Mini Adventure (2 days / £360 pp)
Aimed at aspiring adventurers – or those wanting a weekend with a difference - this course includes some basic expedition skills (bike recovery, navigation and route planning) plus an overnight camp. Training takes place in Malvern, Leominster and South Wales so mixes on-road and gentle off-road riding.
Triumph Major Adventure (5 days / £650)
Aimed at more experienced riders and those planning an overland trip, this course includes intermediate and/or advanced off-road riding skills as necessary plus expedition training (bike recovery & basic maintenance, navigation, route planning, documentation & border negotiation requirements, first aid). Training takes place at a variety of locations in the UK and training can be spaced out or taken over consecutive days.
