Bevan RAT Pack Ride In

Triumph RAT Packs join forces for ‘The Big Triumph Ride In’.

An estimated 400 Triumph riders came together for a Bevan’s RAT Pack Summer Event on Sunday 31st July. A planned ride to Sammy Miller’s Museum (New Milton, Hampshire) commenced with a rendezvous just four miles from the destination on Forestry Commission land with at least 10 South England RAT packs rallied to help support the event.

An initial 200 bikes staggered their rides in to the museum, ultimately joining 100 that had already made the trip direct, with bikes flooding the museum courtyard from 10.30am onwards. Groups from neighboring RAT packs continued to arrive throughout the day including a visit from 6 riders from Holland creating a final estimate of 400 bikes.

Those in attendance were treated to a barbecue and a chance to spend the afternoon looking at some of Sammy Miller’s more unusual bikes in his collection.

Thanks to Sammy Miller’s hospitality and a little help from the weather made the ‘Big Triumph Ride In’ a huge success for Chris Finch and the Bevan’s RAT pack.

RAT Packs in attendance: Carl Rosners Pack, Destination Triumph Washington, Destination Triumph Fareham, Isle of Wight RATs, Fowlers of Bristol, Performance Triumph Cheltenham, Performance Triumph Swindon, Laguna (Maidstone) and Three Cross Motorcycles. Others were assumed to be in attendance.
