British Supersport Championship
The Motorpoint British Supersport Championship is the leading support series to the British Superbike Championship (BSB) following every round on the BSB Calender and has already spawned Moto GP rider Cal Crutchlow and World Superbike front runners Leon Camier and Tom Sykes.
The 2012 Championship saw Glen Richards secure the title in the final race of the campaign on the Daytona 675R for the Smiths (Gloucester) Racing team. Since the victory Smiths have been taken on as Triumph's factory race team (Smiths Triumph) and will race during 2013 with Glen Richards and Billy McConnell.
TAG Triumph also return for 2013 with two additional riders in Scott Smart and TT winner John Simpson completing a four rider line-up. The team will also run one extra Daytona 675 in the National Superstock 600.
T3 Racing, sponsored by Ace Cafe London, will be racing in British Supersport with the 2012 Triple Challenge Winner Rob Guiver.
Profile Racing have chosen to run two Triumph Daytona 675Rs in this season's Supersport Championship. Former Smiths Triumph rider Luke Mossey moves to Profile Racing to join Luke Stapleford to complete a two rider line up.
